EARTHSCAPE “Medical Herbman Café Project in Maebashi”

An “Herbman,” human-shaped garden, was created by planting medically beneficial herbs in the locations of effected body parts.
Workshops and a music event will be held on November 23.

Location: Ginza-dori “Motenashi Hiroba” (Maebashi, Chiyoda-machi 2chome, 10-18)
Participants will pick a variety of herbs planted in the Herbman and make a pressed-leaf book.

EARTHSCAPE is a landscape design studio which creates landscapes and art projects both domestically and abroad, established in 1999 by CEO EIKI DANZUKA (born in Oita Prefecture in 1963). EARTHSCAPE is involved in a wide range of activities including LaLaport Toyosu, Lazona Kawasaki, the Ginza Mitsui Building, and the Shibuya Cultural Center Owada. It launched the Medical Herbman Café Project (MHCP) and participated in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. By making use of a mobile system, EARTHSCAPE operates the MHCP with local residents in each area. It received the Green Good Design Award. It develops its original recipes and creates events where participants can enjoy not only the view but also eating and drinking.
Farmers’ Market / Nomad Market (Locally hosted project)
Organic vegetables and specially selected food will be sold.
